Inlet Grove is committed to providing a safe, friendly learning environment for students. Attire is not only a reflection of the individual student, but also of the general learning environment. Therefore, students have the responsibility to wear clothing that projects a positive attitude of pride in self, school and community. Students are required to wear appropriate, comfortable and safe clothing that is neat and clean.
Female students may wear slacks/skirts with closed shoes, sneakers or sandals with strapped backs. Skirts must be knee length or longer.
Male students at all times must wear a belt and have their polo shirt tucked in at all times.
Our Career Colors are as follows:
The following listed attire is not dress code appropriate for Inlet Grove:
• No head coverings (hats. bandanas, sweat bands.,etc.).
• No “jean” material garments of an kind or tee shirts with long or short sleeves.
• No markings. slogans or writing of any kind.
• No backless, strapless, low cut or sleeveless shirts and blouses.
• No pants with pockets on sides (cargo pants) or shorts (except those approved for automotive students).
• No flip flops or other footwear that does not have hacks.
• No excessive andor ostentatious jewelry, make-up, or hairstyles. No hoop earrings larger than a quarter.
• No visible body piercing jewelry other than single earrings worn on the ear lobe.
• No spiked jewelry, pocket chains or chains worn as jewelry.
• No sweat pants/sweat tops in any kind of material or velour.
• No spandex leggings.
• No frailed articles of clothing.
• No hooded sweatshirts or jackets (hoodies).
• No grills or teeth inlays.
• No velour or sweat pants/tops
• No students may wear dreadlocks or braids (boys only).
• No hair dye colors either temporary or permanent other than your natural hair color.
