The Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test® (FCAT) is part of Florida’s overall plan to increase student achievement by implementing higher standards. The FCAT, administered to students in Grades 3-11, consists of criterion-referenced tests (CRT) in mathematics, reading, science, and writing, which measure student progress toward meeting the Sunshine State Standards (SSS) benchmarks.
To read more about the FCAT, and to see school scores, please visit the Florida Department of Education’s FCAT website.
FCAT Explorer helps students learn about and practice the skills tested on the FCAT. In order to log in you will need your student number. Go to FCAT Explorer for practice for the FCAT.
The Florida Department of Education has developed a website that lists the 12th Grade Options. This website lists all the options for students who need to pass the FCAT, and talks about the GED as well.
