Inlet Grove supports a variety of clubs and organizations for our students.

Adventure Club
The Adventure Club is where you should be if you love to explore the world around you.

The Marching Canes
The Marching Canes is an outstanding group of award winning percussion, and cymbal musicians, accompanied by our dance team, which makes for dynamic field shows. Dressed in our Silver and Blue, the band is a favorite at home sporting events, football games, and a celebrated performing ensemble at community events.

Financial Literacy Club
The Financial Literacy Club is a student-led club that aims to help students gain
an understanding of money using lessons given by their fellow peers and
sponsor. Lessons are given on how money works, i.e., making money, saving
money, growing money and protecting money. Students talk about protection,
debt management, emergency funds, investments, cryptocurrency, Robinhood,
scholarships, grants, student loans, taxation, credit scores, paying rent, car loans
and more. This club also provides the students Financial Literacy Campaign
exposure by having the students attend community business events as well as
run on their own two real-world small business ventures, i.e., a Flower Shop and
a Car Wash Shop. These ventures were manned and managed by FLC
members during the school year, creating a real business experience for the
students. Entry requirements: Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, willing to learn
and attend all activities and meetings in- school and off-school.

Team 450
There are 2 Robotics teams associated with FIRST, an international robotics organization. FIRST Tech Challenge, FTC, builds a smaller 18″ robot. This team meets Tuesday’s after school at Inlet Grove. FIRST Robotics challenge, FRC, builds a bigger 120 lb. robot and meets at 7071 Garden Rd. at 6:00 pm on Tuesdays. Both programs compete against other schools and build a new robot customized to meet a new game challenge each year.

Students Against Melanoma
The Students Against Melanoma Club’s mission is to save lives through education about the prevention and early detection of skin cancer, especially melanoma.

First Priority
First Priority Club is a open religious forum where we promote a positive environment for students. The students have the opportunity to discuss their trials, as well as their testimonies, coupled with peer and adult support.

National Honor Society
The National Honor Society (NHS-IGHS) serves to recognize IGCHS students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. It also challenges its members to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service. Students are invited to join if their cum GPA is 3.25 or higher but will only receive the honors regalia (stole, medal, honor cord) if their cum GPA buy the end of the first semester of their senior year is 3.5 or higher.

Our SWAT Chapter (Students working Against Tobacco). Is a youth organization working to mobilize, educate and equip FLORIDA’s youth to revolt against and de-glamorize BIG TOBACCO!

Teen Outreach Program
Inlet Grove, in partnership with The Urban League, is pleased to offer The TOP (Teen Outreach Program) Club. TOP’s unique focus is on reconnecting teens to their communities through transformational community service learning opportunities that are built into the program. Current junior and senior LPN students will be able to participate in this club which focuses on healthy relationships, critical thinking, goal-setting, decision making and personal reflection, exploration of their own values, human development, and community service learning.

Debate Club
The Debate Club is an organization for students to prepare their oratory skills, debate methods, and rhetoric in front of peers. This club is in conjunction with the Debate Team and a good way to explore other types of events held within a debate tournament. Debate Team is an organization for students to sharpen their oratory skills, debate methods, and rhetoric for upcoming debates. This team is used in conjunction with the Debate Club to prepare, practice, and develop rhetorical skills.

School Improvement Club
The School Improvement Club otherwise known as S.I.C., is a student-governed organization formed by the students, for the students. The purpose of this club is to physically and academically improve the school. The S.I.C. Club has already planted a school garden and contributed to community service projects such as “After-School Cleanups”. They plan to maintain the garden and continue their current activities as well. Establish a mentoring program for underclassmen and other students in need of advice and organize interesting school events to engage the student body. S.I.C. club’s main focus is to better the experience of high school, one day at a time.

Student Government
The purpose of Student Government Association is to be the voice of the student body at Inlet Grove Community High School, to serve as a model government (through the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches), and to foster leadership development.
To ensure our students have a consistent and quality program I am looking for two to three teachers help me run Student Government.

Rho Kappa Honor Society
JOIN RHO KAPPA NATIONAL SOCIAL STUDIES HONOR SOCIETY TODAY!
Student requirements include:
- You must be a graduating senior and have completed at least one semester at inlet grove community high school. Completed four semesters of courses in the field of social studies a GPA of 3.0, and Cumulative GPA of 3.0 have “on-track” service credit hours, a letter of recommendation, actively participate in the rho kappa community service project
- Submit your form and application to club sponsor.

Drama Club
Drama club gives students an opportunity to participate in supervised creative dramatic activities which include performances in front of an audience. Members will be exposed to different aspects of theatre including impromptu skits, monologues, blocking, playwriting, and prop selection and use. The club will work on creative thinking skills, encourage teamwork, and provide students with enriched learning experiences in the area of performing arts.
