8th Grade Skipper Program

Inlet Grove High School offers a unique opportunity for high-performing seventh-grade students to accelerate their education by skipping eighth grade and entering high school early. This prestigious pathway is reserved for students who demonstrate academic excellence, maturity, and strong character. Candidates must show above-grade-level performance on standardized tests, maintain high grades, and exhibit responsible behavior. Being selected as an “8th Grade Skipper” is both an honor and a head start—allowing students to begin their high school journey ahead of the curve and work toward early college and career success.
