Matthew Haughn
I’ve been an artist and graphic designer my entire life and have taught visual arts and design since 1997. From 2011 to August 2022, my family and I lived abroad in Turkey before returning to the United States.
My teaching career began in Atlanta, Georgia, followed by work in Washington, D.C., and later in Turkey, where I taught in both Istanbul and Izmir. Degrees include a University of Georgia diploma from the Lamar Dodd School of Art in Athens, along with a Master of Arts in Art Education from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois.
Extensive travel throughout Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and North America has shaped both my perspective and my work. Outside of the classroom, favorite interests include scuba diving, hiking, camping, art museums, and the occasional rock concert.
