Artificial Intelligence Foundations
This program prepares students with the knowledge to pursue further studies and employment in jobs that will be driven by Artificial Intelligence. It ensures proficiency in technical skills, and competencies-based applied learning that is essential for developing knowledge, higher-order thinking skills, problem-solving, work attitude, general employability skills, technical skills and occupation specific skills in all aspects of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning necessary for the success of AI-driven professionals in an environment of business and academia. Fundamental knowledge in five big ideas in Artificial Intelligence: perception, representation and reasoning, machine learning, Human-AI interaction, and societal impacts of AI, AI systems and components, problems and tools that AI driven professionals need to create models and systems based on the data used for decision making. Essential skills to become an AI power user. It also covers information on topics that include specialized programming skills involving advanced mathematical calculations and statistics are also integrated into the curriculum.
